As you may know, I start my book, Breathe Again, with an introduction titled “I’m sorry you’re here … no wait, I take that back.”
Why on earth would I do that?
Why would a brand new author, who doesn’t know one end of the publishing industry from another (that will be me 😜), tell you she wishes you weren’t reading her book. Bonkers right?
Because here’s the thing. When you write a book about how, with God, life doesn’t have to be pain free to be full, that’s a road map for finding more of all He has for us when we’ve handed a whole bucket full of less, the chances are readers will be going through a rough time.
And if that’s you, I hate that for you.
But at the same time I’m so so glad they’ve found it because it means they’ve had enough and want to start living life to the full right in the middle of whatever life’s chucked their way.
I just love that!
[By the way, I’d love to send you the Intro and 1st Chapter straight to your inbox for FREE.]
That’s why there’s a part of me that hopes you don’t want to come with us as we set out on the Breathe Again Online Book Tour.
But at the same time, I really hope you do, because it’s going to help you relax a bit, enable your shoulders drop a few inches, and inhale deep lung fulls of life – which I’m guessing you need oodles of right now.
So what’s the Breathe Again Online Book Tour?
Well, if you’re anything like me, it takes time, practical examples and stories of what things look like in real life, to actually begin to put things into practice in your own life.
That’s why I’ve asked ten amazing friends and fellow authors to go on tour with me as we go through Breathe Again chapter by chapter, dig into the practices and learn together how we can apply them to our lives.
You’re going to love these ladies and I really hope you’ll come along and soak in their stories.
Look who’s coming. Can you believe it?
How does it work?
Each week between now and November 14th one of these ladies will share a story and practical encouragement about how they use the practice outlined in their chapter (each chapter in Breathe Again outlines a practice) to help us thrive, not just survive, right in the midst of life.
By the end of the tour there’ll be ten posts all pointing towards the Thriver’s Manifesto at the end of the book. I can’t wait.
Here’s a sneak peak at the abbreviated Thriver’s Manifesto to get you excited (the full version’s in the book and there’s a link to download your own copy there too).
To make sure you don’t miss one of their posts make sure to follow me on Instagram where I’ll post when they go live, or download the first couple of chapters or another freebie of mine so you don’t miss one of our Thrive Tribe monthly emails where I’ll share them all (along with some other things I’d hate for you to miss).
If you haven’t gotten around to diving into Breathe Again, you can grab a copy here and be ready for chapter one next week with author and counselor, Meredith McDaniel.
Breathe Again is for anyone whose life has fallen apart, either over night or slowly over time. If you need a no nonsense, down-to-earth practical friend who’s been where you are, who’ll help you dig for the rubies buried in the rubble on your life, this is the book for you.
It’s not a quick fix, “how to keep going” kind of book. It’s a road map to finding all God has for you, right in the middle of all life’s thrown at you. Just click the orange button and I’ll send you the first chapter and intro so you can begin to breathe again right this minute.
